Notes on my first hackathon
Notes·
I went in with a plan and left with a completely different project than the one I pitched at the opening ceremony. That turned out to be the most useful part of the whole weekend.
The biggest lesson wasn't technical. It was how much faster a team moves when everyone agrees on the smallest possible version of the idea before writing any code.
We didn't win anything, but I came home with a better sense of how to scope a project down to something that can actually get finished in a weekend.
